If you are using our excellent homecare service for the dispensing and delivery of your prescription, we will do all we can to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. 

If you would just like to know how to use homecare, our customer care team will listen to what you want and give clear and open information to help you get the best service for your particular requirements. 

If you would like to discuss an issue with one of our pharmacists, you will find them very understanding, knowledgeable and willing to do all they can to help you.

Prescriptions

You can contact our team of Pharmacists and qualified Dispensing Assistants who can discuss your prescription with you and make arrangements to dispense and deliver all the items to your chosen delivery address, during an agreed time slot within 24 hours of receiving the original prescription.

If we have agreed to dispense your order against a copy of a prescription that has been faxed to us by your hospital or clinic, we must receive the original in the post as soon as possible. If you have the original, your clinic may have provided you with one of our pre paid envelopes for this purpose, otherwise you can post your prescription to Customer Care, Pharmasure Ltd., 28 Metro Centre, Dwight Road, Watford WD18 9SB.

Depending on the instructions for administration of your medicines specified by your healthcare professional, Pharmasure will provide certain appropriate disposables as part of your prescribed treatment.

You will find all the members of our Customer Care team are there to help you in any way they can. We will always provide you with open and clear information to best assist you with this stage of your treatment.

Confidentiality

All our contact with you is completely confidential.  If you provide us with contact telephone numbers but we cannot speak to you or your designated contacts personally, the nature of our call will not be revealed. We only advise or leave messages to the effect that we are calling to make delivery arrangements.

Our deliveries are made via our couriers Initial City Link, an alternative courier, or our own delivery vehicles.  The package will be addressed to you personally with nothing to indicate the company it has been sent from and certainly no indication of what is inside.

About your order

Our Pharmacists ask that you please:

  • Check the contents of your order against the delivery note enclosed, within 48 hours of receipt and contact our Customer Care team to discuss any queries.
     
  • Transfer all medication that has been delivered within a temperature controlled (white polystyrene) box, to a refrigerator as soon as possible. 

    NB It is important that your medicine does not freeze

  • Familiarise yourself with the:
    • Expiry dates of your products, as you must not use the medication past this date.
       
    • Patient Information Leaflets (PILs), where provided, as these will have information on storage and use of your medicine.
       
    • Dispensing labels on your medication which provide information regarding administration, warnings and storage.

Please be aware of Pharmacy Legislation which means that once you have received delivery of your prescription, Pharmasure is unable to accept the return of any unused medication for resale.
